1. Data Controller

In accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data will be processed by Werner ("Company") as the data controller within the scope described below.

2. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data will be processed within the conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the following objectives:

  • Performing the necessary work by our business units to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company.
  • Customizing and recommending our products and services according to your tastes, usage habits, and needs.
  • Ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and the persons in business relations with our Company.

3. To Whom and For What Purpose Processed Personal Data Can Be Transferred

Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals within the framework of the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, for the purposes mentioned in Section 2.

4. Method and Legal Basis for Personal Data Collection

Your personal data is collected through various channels (website, mobile applications, social media, call centers, and other verbal, written, or electronic means) based on the following legal grounds:

  • Necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract.
  • Fulfillment of the Company's legal obligations.
  • The data has been made public by the person concerned.
  • Data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right.
  • Data processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Company, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

5. Rights of the Data Subject under Article 11 of the KVKK

As personal data subjects, you have the following rights:

  • To learn whether personal data is being processed.
  • To request information if personal data has been processed.
  • To learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used correctly for that purpose.
  • To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad.
  • To request correction if personal data is processed incompletely or inaccurately.
  • To request the deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions provided in Article 7 of the KVKK.
  • To object to an outcome against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems.
  • To demand compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing of personal data.
